One of the sweetest parts of every holiday season is all the goodies: cookies, candies, pies and cakes. There are the family favorites that we make year after year, but it is always fun to try new ones too. Often times making holiday goodies with family and friends is just as much fun as sharing them.

Why not help sweeten everyone’s holiday season by sharing some of your favorite recipes. If you’re feeling really creative you can even share a photo of your favorite treats or the people that help you make them. .

How does it work?.
Simply submit your favorite holiday recipe and, if you like, a photo of the recipe or you and your family making or enjoying it. .
Once all the entries are in the voting can begin. Be sure to encourage your family and friends to go online and vote for your recipe..
You'll also want to make time to check out all the other great recipes. There may be some new family favorites in the mix.

Are there prizes?.
Yes. The ten entries receiving the most votes will get a $30 gift certificate to Armstrong Grocery in New Bern..
- recipes may be entered November 8-21.
- voting will be online from November 22 - December 6.
- all the recipes will remain online through the holiday season
