Contest Rules:
- Babies must be born after January 1, 2007.
- Parents name, phone number, address, baby’s name and birth date must be written on the back of the photograph you submit.
- Entries with incomplete information will not be accepted.
- Hard copy photos must be at least two inches wide and 300 DPI to qualify. Poor quality photos will not be accepted.
- Photos are non-returnable.
- Copyrighted photos must be accompanied by photographer’s release.
- The Free Press reserves the right to require proof of age.
- Only one photo per baby.
- No entries will be accepted after August 13, 2008.
- By submitting content, you give The Free Press authority to use, publish or derive revenue from your submission.
Voting:
Vote for your favorite baby with a $0.50 donation to Newspapers In Education.
- Each $0.50 donation counts as one vote. All entry photos will be printed in The Free Press on August 17 and online at www.kinston.com. You may vote anytime between August 17 and August 29 at The Free Press Customer Service / Cashier Window at 2103 N. Queen St., Kinston.
- Vote with a credit card (minimum 10 votes = $5.00) at www.kinston.com where all photos will be displayed. Click on “Most Amazing Baby in Lenoir County” and select your favorite baby.
- The Free Press is not responsible for any money or votes lost in the mail. The Free Press Newspaper In Education Literacy Program provides papers to local classrooms.
Winners:
Total number of votes cast will determine winners. The top ten will be announced with their photos in The Free Press on Wednesday, September 3, 2008.
